Port Orford Heads museum diorama. scale 1/624.

The Cape Blanco Heritage Society commissioned a five-foot-by-five-foot diorama of the Port Orford Heads State Park - with elements of the U.S. Coast Guard Lifeboat Station as it was circa 1950, alongside present-day features such as the current trail system. The model is featured as the centerpiece in the museum building (formerly the crew's quarters), and includes prototypical modeling of the 100-acre state park area and surrounding ocean, with scale scale structures. The museum is open April-October, Thursday-Monday 10 am - 3:30 pm. Click on photos below for an enlargement.
