Next Adventure Sporting Goods, Portland, Oregon. Enclosed shadowbox.
This was a commissioned project for the owners/operators of Next Adventure Sporting Goods, Portland, Oregon, USA. They specialize in kayaking, snowboarding, skiing, camping, and climbing, and host a slew of related sporting goods in their store. For the very best deals in town, visit their store on the corner of Stark and Grand in southeast Portland.
The model was produced by skewing images in PhotoShop and printing a layout for the framework. Once complete, the framework supported a mylar drape for the window glazing. Posters and other details followed. Next Adventure has more sporting gear than they know what to do with, as evidenced by the kayaks, bicycles, and other equipment found there on a typical busy day. Produced in March of 2003. 20"x42"x12", approximate scale is 1/48.

The Troll represents life in the darkest, dampest corner of the basement. Nothing to do but eat kayaks, I guess.
